Kirsty O’Neill - Soprano
KIRSTY O’NEILL is a professional Soprano and Singing Teacher from London, England, performing as a soloist and ensemble singer throughout the UK and abroad. She graduated from her Master's degree in vocal performance at The Royal Academy of Music in 2024 where she held a scholarship and was supported by the Josephine Baker Trust. Kirsty Teaches both privately at her home in Honor Oak Park and also at King’s College, University of London with students having gained places in the Chapel Choir, Genesis Sixteen and on Masters programmes including at the Royal Academy of Music.
Kirsty is a regular soloist for Oratorio concerts around the country with recent highlights including Mozart Requiem and Solemn Vespers in Malmesbury Abbey, Haydn Nelson Mass in Canterbury Cathedral, Handel Dixit Dominus and JS Bach's B Minor Mass in Norwich Cathedral, JS Bach St John Passion with Bournemouth Symphony Chorus and Mozart Mass in C Minor with Ealing Choral Society in Cadogan Hall.
As a choral singer, Kirsty has performed, recorded and toured with professional choirs including The Gabrieli Consort, Polyphony, The BBC Singers, Chamber Choir of London, Ora Singers, La Nuova Musica, The Hanover Band, Britten Sinfonia Voices, the Sixteen and a number of London's professional church choirs including Royal Hospital Chelsea, St Paul’s Knightsbridge and The Brompton Oratory.
Kirsty Co-founded professional choir, Recordare, in 2018 who have gone on to perform in well known festivals around the UK and recently recorded their first full album with Resonus Classics, due to be released in late 2026.
She is an alumna of the Genesis Sixteen programme run by Harry Christophers and The Sixteen and was a Choral Scholar at Royal Holloway, University of London. With the Royal Holloway Chapel Choir, she toured and recorded extensively and featured as a soloist on their 'Winter Songs' Christmas CD which reached number one in the UK Classical Charts.
